A complete run of this influential 1930s bimonthly poetry periodical, comprising all thirty-two issues (January 1933 to autumn 1938 and including two double-issues), plus the two issues (all that were published) from the New Series (January and May 1939). Slim 8vo. Stapled card wrappers, the staples rusted and some wrappers lightly spotted, tanned or dust soiled. The wrappers of single issue (#22) split at the natural fold. A very crisp and bright set of Grigson's "'major-counterpoise' against Georgianism, imagism, and 'Pure Poetryism'". Regular collaborators include W. H. Auden (a total of twenty-one poems over the full run), Louis MacNeice, Dylan Thomas, Bernard Spencer, Kenneth Allott, Gavin Ewart, Charles Madge, Norman Cameron, David Gascoyne, Ruthven Todd, Kathleen Raine, C. Day Lewis, Allen Tate, Edwin Muir, Roy Fuller, George Barker, Herbert Read &c.
