First printing. 8vo. x, 244 pp. Original glossy blue-green pictorial wrappers. Laid into the book is a printed color image of a digital photo of Eve standing in front of a local lingerie shop, "Eve's Closet" (location not noted) with the caption written by Eve in her trademark red ink below: "Finally . . . Out!!" From the library of noted scholar on sexuality and queer studies, Michael Moon, whose signature is on the front free endpaper. Moon was one of the four academics (along with Sedgwick and his partner, Jonathan Goldberg) who launched and was one of the general editors of Duke University Press' landmark Series Q which brought a theoretical and interdisciplinary lens to gay and lesbian studies, approaching questions of sexuality from a queer perspective. Sedgwick and Moon were colleagues at Duke also close personal friends. Light spinal wear else tight, near fine. A great association copy with a wonderful, humorous photo. Scarce.
