Bound in contemporary full sheep, blind panel decoration to covers, no lettering or title. Binding rubbed, upper and lower hinges cracked at head and tail, but covers still attached, corners bumped and slightly worn at tips, slight loss of leather to edge of upper cover, inner paper hinges cracked, no free endpapers, some ink scribble to pastedowns, old ink name to top margin of Preface and foot of last page, neither affecting text, faint staining to upper margins, pale age-browning to pages.
