In full calf bindings, with gilt detailing to back strip, and blind tooling to board perimeters. Externally, excellent. Light rubbing to joints. Tail of rear joint of volume II, and head and tail of rear joint of volume IV starting, with board firmly held. Volume I rear hinge, volume II front hinge, and volume III hinges strained, but firmly held. Pages bright and generally clean, with the odd handling mark, and with spots to first and last few leaves.
