Complete set (A-4 to A-6) in bright, clean condition; moderate spine creasing; uniform toning; "Fellowship" has a name stamped in ink on blurb page. Overall, Very Good. This particular set of this iconic trilogy was first published in the United States by Ace in 1965. It was not authorized and resulted in a lawsuit between Tolkien and Ace Publishers. This is a complete set which is very hard to find. This set was published before the Ballantine editions.
