Original offprint of Fisher's addendum to The Purchasing Power of Money, first included in the June 1911 issue of The American Economic Review, from the library of one of the leading exponents of the Austrian school of economic thought. "In my book on The Purchasing Power of Money I have endeavored to express in figures and diagrams the rise of prices in the United States and the causes for the rise for the period 1896-1909. When the book was about to go to press sufficient data were received to make it possible to include in an addendum the corresponding figures for 1910, but it was, of course, not possible to make the corresponding changes in the diagrams." (p. 3). This offprint permitted Fisher to reconstruct the principal diagram of the book so as to include 1910. Fisher E-176a). Octavo, pp. 16, including final two blank leaves and a large folding chart. Contemporary boards, cloth spine, handwritten paper label. Ownership stamp of Austrian economist Johann von Komorzynski on title, with his acquisition number in ink. Folding chart partly split along fold; a very good copy.
