First separate edition. 8vo. pp. 18, [2, colophon]; four plates from photos.; minor spotting, else very good in original printed wrappers. A presentation copy, inscribed to upper wrapper "Right Hon. Sir George D. Taubman Goldie with the compliments of William Hunter Workman". Workman's account of his climb on Pyramid Peak in the Karakoram, when he reached 23,394ft. Workman claimed this to be a record height, and in this article questioned the record of 24,000 feet claimed by W. W. Graham. The recipient of this offprinted version of his article, George D. Taubman Goldie, was an administrator who in 1905 became president of the Royal Geographical Society.
