Jacket Condition: . Reprint of the 1912 edition, 22.5 x 29 cm green cloth with gilt stamped decoration and titles to the front and spine. Uncut fore and bottom edges viii[viii] 122[2]pp with 50 tipped in coloured plates with captioned tissue-guards and 22 black and white illustrations including 7 full page drawings not included in the first edition all by Arthur Rackham. In original jacket. The boards have been well protected by the dust jacket and are clean and bright with just a little bruising to the bottom corner of the front board. Internally pretty clean with a touch of uniform toning and a little spotting to the endpapers where the dust jacket does not reach. The plates and captioned tissue-guards are all present and in excellent condition. The dust jacket is a little dust marked with loss of 5-7.5cm at the head of the spine and to a mush lesser extent to the corners and foot of the spine. There are also a number of closed tears along the top and bottom edges. All in all a lovely early reprint of the much sort after 1912 edition of this book.
