A first edition, first printing of King Rat by James Clavell, published by Michael Joseph, London in 1963. A very good book free from internal inscriptions, with some toning to the text blocks and light spotting to the fore-edge of the text block. In a near fine clipped wrapper with light chipping to the spine tips and knuckles of front and rear flap folds, some fading to the spine and browning of rear panel and hinges of flap folds.
