Interior is gently age-toned, exhibits some creasing at page corners, light edgewear. Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks.** PS2025.1008** 105 pages. 8.5 x 11 inches** True first edition. Illustrated white stapled wraps, with photographs and drawings illustrating the text. Twenty pages of publisher's advertisements and other ephemera inside the back cover. Condition is Very Good; back cover is tanned, interior shows some creasing at upper corner, but overall very sharp, and still very stout, especially for a mimeograph/offset produced volume, with staple-bound wraps.** The author is Walter Isidor Siegmeister (1903-1965), who also wrote under the name Raymond W. Bernard. He was an early 20th-century American alternative health advocate and esoteric writer who formed part of the alternative reality subculture. Siegmeister is credited with the merger of the Hollow Earth theory and religious beliefs about UFOs. Writing under the name Raymond Bernard, Siegmeister wrote about the Hollow Earth theory, borrowing heavily from other authors. The Hollow Earth was preceded by Flying Saucers from the Earth's Interior (1960), largely based on the works of Ray Palmer. The ideas in Flying Saucers were carried forward and expanded in The Hollow Earth.** Very scarce in this softcover original version.** "Postage for oversized and international shipping will be calculated by size and weight.
