Octavo. 6 x 9 in. All volumes very good in original pictorial wrappers, some with faint foxing to text block and some spots of edgewear. Fall 1994 volume with Angela Carter and Tadeusz Konwicki has curling to fore-edge. Ten years of the seminal tri-quarterly Review of Contemporary Fiction from 1989 to 1999. Some consecutive issues are missing, but important issues of this prolific and important review are present and listed below. Founded in 1980 by John O'Brien, the Review's aim was to highlight experimental, modernist, and often overlooked contemporary writing, much of it including writers writing about other writers outside of academic constraints. Eventually the review expanded to include contemporary international writers in translation as well. Contributing editors over the years included Steven Moore, David Foster Wallace, Chad Post, etc. The review ceased publishing in 2016 and the Dalkey Archive was abosrbed by Deep Vellum Books. This lot includes: New French Fiction, Spring 1989; Milan Kundera / Zulfikar Ghose, Summer 1989; John Barth / David Markson, Summer 1990; Grove Press Number, Fall 1990; Donald Barthelme / Toby Olson, Summer 1991; Alexander Theroux / Paul West, Spring 1991; William H.
