There are some surface scratches in the lower left margin.Metka Kraandscaron;ovec (1941andndash;2018) was a pioneering Slovenian painter and printmaker, renowned for her vivid, emotive works that seamlessly blend realism, neoclassicism, and impressionistic illustration. A regular professor of painting and drawing at the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Ljubljana, she was the first female painting professor at the institution and the first woman to have a retrospective exhibition in Slovenia. In 2015, she became the first female associate member of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SAZU).Kraandscaron;ovecs artistic journey was marked by a profound exploration of beauty, light, and human experience.
