First published in 1806, "Mrs Rundell" was the most popular English cookery book of the first half of the 19th century. Printed by W. Lewis and Son: London, and bound by T.E. Slate: London. 16mo: xl, 419, 5 [ads] pp. with the frontispiece and extra title page vignette, both steel engravings, and 12 full-page plates, all wood engravings. The frontispiece and extra title page vignette are toned; the remainder of the contents are clean and bright. The front hinge is just starting and still quite sound.
