Garden Memories: An original wood-engraving by Eric Ravilious (1903 - 1942). The wood-engraving was originally published in a limited edition of 50 copies as issued with the numbered 1-50 copies of the book 'Poems by Thomas Hennell' Oxford University Press, 1936, signed by the author and the artist (the original wood engraving was not included in the ordinary edition of the book). This edition, 1994, is printed in an edition of 200 numbered copies on Zerkall Mould-Made paper on a Western Proof Press, at Oxford Brookes University and is initialled and numbered 108/200 by Anne Ullman, Eric Ravilious's daughter. The wood-engraving is loosely inserted beneath a cream window mount and enclosed within a titled and decorated textured card wrapper as issued. All in exceptionally fine condition.
