A well-preserved example of the 1970 1st edition of Aspen #9, COMPLETE IN ITS 13 SECTIONS. Sections 1-12 (all loose inserts) are clean and crisp and at least VG+ to Near Fine. Sec. 13 (which constitutes the Hetty MacLise-designed psychedelic folder itself) shows a bit of wear along the spine and its ends (2 small closed tears) and minor wear to the rear tips as well. Still though very presentable. The breakdown is as follows: Sec 1) Don Snyder -- Dream of Goeralegan; Sec 2) Universal Mutant -- By Ira Cohen and Bill Devore; Sec 3) Aymon De Sales -- Musical Scores & Glyphs; Sec 4) Dale Wilbourn: Triptych; Sec 5) Lumagraphs by Don Snyder; Sec 6) Benno Friedman's Westerns; Sec 7) Diane Rochlin: Photos; Sec 8) Gerard Melanga; Sec 9) The Soul of the Word by Marian Zazeela; Sec 10) Dream Music by La Monte Young; Sec 11) Spontaneous Sound Recorded at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine; Sec 12) Sentential Metaphrastic by Lionel Ziprin; and Sec 13) The Portfolio Itself.
