Some scuffing and losses along edges of boards and spine. Restoration attempts to exterior. Front end page mostly detached, with remainder of text block bound well. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce work on thoughts of life after death. Henry Grove (1684-1738) was an English dissenting theologian and nonconformist minister. Examining the afterlife from a humanist lens, Grove asserts that nonbelievers may simply cease to exist rather than suffer eternity in Hell. A wonderful piece for restoration and rebinding.
