A collection of 8 essays by 5 authors from the history of the river to its noted angling for huge salmon. Text in English and Norwegian appearing in parallel columns. Accompanied by stunning period photographs of tremendous salmon catches. "One of the best river (sic) in Norway for salmon and sea trout is the Laerdal River"." This is the hardbound limited cloth edition with blind embossed impression olf a salmon fly on the black boards. This is No 354/100 signed by the author on the fore title. There are six separate signatures on the illustrated fep recording the size of various salmon and sea trout caught and beside a photo of one " Malvin Johnson in full swing on Hague, as angler and Gillie" is a handwritten annotation "12-7-75 - Congratulations with big sea trout 6.5 Kg on the fly - Malvin." Clean and internally unmarked apart from as noted above; slight marks to rear board bt still in VG condition; may have been issued with a slip case which is not present.Uncommon.
