There are four fold-out maps; including a removable one in the book's rear pocket (see images). Condition - this book has been assessed as in a poor condition. This is because, while intact, the pages are consistently tanned - with some pages very tanned indeed (see example images). Externally, the crimson coloured cloth is a little faded with wrinkling and scuffing in places.The removable map is extremely tanned. The book's final page has become detached (mea culpa!). Ink signature on front paste down. It remains a nice book but the slow, inexorable passage of time has left its mark. pp. 559/8vo.
