I am pleased to offer a near fine copy of Harriet Beecher Stowe s classic: Uncle Tom s Cabin; or, Life Among the Lowly. This large hard cover book (7 ¼ x 10 ¾ inches, 295 pages) was published by the Easton Press of Norwalk, Connecticut, dated 1993. The book is bound in grey leather with elaborate gilt decorations on the covers and four raised bands on the spine with handsome gilt decorations and title on the spine. The book has a special introduction by Joan Hedrick and a traditional introduction by Raymond Weaver. It is illustrated with the lithographs of Miquel Covrrubias. Condition: This book is in near fine condition. The leather boards are shiny and pristine and without wear or blemish. Inside the book is unmarked and the pages and plates are clean and bright throughout, without toning or foxing. There are really no flaws or blemishes. It is not ex-library or a remainder.
