Publisher's full beige linen, red and brown lettering on spine and cover. The volume contains 35 pages of text (all in German) including descriptions of each of the reproductions, followed by 218 pages with 109 superbly printed color reproductions of master drawings from the 14th to the 18th centuries from the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest, with the number and artist on the facing page. The artists represented include Leonardo da Vinci, Lucas Cranach, Paolo Veronese, Tintoretto, Correggio, Bronzino, Annibale Carracci, Brueghel, Van Dyck, Rembrandt, Claude Lorrain, Poussin, Tiepolo, Guardi, Watteau, Hogarth, Gainsborough, and many others. . Brief gift inscription on ffep dated 1962, large tear in dust jacket (now in Mylar) at top of front panel (causing some sunning on cover), edges of dust jacket also sunned and worn with some closed tears, and a few penned notes on the front panel. Aside from the sunned portion of the cover, the volume is in excellent condition and the interior is fine, with all of the reproductions clean and bright.
