This custom, waterproof, lightweight, small dog leash is done in standard Beta Biothane, which measures approximately 1/2" wide & approximately 1/8" thick & has a 500 lb. break strength. We DO NOT recommend this width for doggos over 30 lbs. If you are having trouble finding this item in a width that better suits your pupper, just message us & we will get you taken care of. You may choose up to 3 colors for your leash. Just tell us in the personalization box what color you want the handle, the body & the traffic handle. The leash has a standard 12" (6" when doubled) leash handle with a floating o-ring on the handler end, on the pup end it has a 10", flat traffic handle & the leash, from the tip of the handle down to where the clip is attached can be from 3 - 10 feet. You can select from a number of different clip & rivet combinations: - Small Standard (2.5" nickel-plated zinc) - Small Black Standard (2.5" Powder Coated Zinc) - Small Stainless Standard (Not pictured - 2.5" solid stainless steel) - Small Brass Standard (2.5" solid brass) - Small Nickel Trigger (2.25" nickel-plated zinc) - Small Brass Trigger (2.25" solid brass) - Small Stainless Trigger (not pictured - 2.25" solid stainless steel) - Carabiner (3", aircraft aluminum, 2,697 lbs break strength, black with silver nickel hardware or black with black hardware) Trigger snaps can come undone if your doggo tends to jump or roll around on the ground a lot. All nickel-plated or carabiner options come with nickel-plated solid brass rivets, black snaps come with black powder-coated brass rivets, brass comes with natural solid brass rivets & stainless steel comes with matte nickel-plated solid brass rivets. All rings match the metal selection of the snap, except for carabiners which are nickel plated steel. If you are going to be in water-intensive or salt-intensive activities, select an appropriate brass or stainless steel option. Please note - doggos CAN chew through biothane!
