Measure the kitty's current bowl & then determine if you need more space or less, & then order the next size up or down. These hold less than a regular, store-bought bowl because the walls are lower to help your cat with whisker fatigue symptoms. These are specialized cat food "bowls" which are very low-walled, much like a plate with a slight curve. Is your cat screaming at you with a bowl that's not empty, except maybe that middle part? Here's why: my design has a curved bowl interior instead of the raised sides that mass manufacturers create their cat food bowls with. They are selling smaller dog food bowls that don't allow cat whiskers to fit into the curve, so they cannot eat all the food in the dish without panicking. That panic causes them to eat too fast & then throw up. These can be messier than a regular bowl; however, the health benefits far outweigh the mess. You might find food pushed out of the bowl, but it's not vomit on your furniture or carpeting. If vomiting persists after consistent use, there might be a deeper-rooted issue, such as food insecurity.
