If a regular size bow is a bit too big for your smaller kitty or you'd just like a smaller bow in general, you now have the option. Candy Bells (enamel colored) are available now along with gold or silver. I will pick a color that coincides with the collar purchased or if you want a certain color, leave me a note & if it is available, I'd be glad to add it. SIZE: All collars are 1/2 wide except the Kitten which is slightly narrower Adult/Cat adjustableapproximately 8-11 in Ex-Large Adult/Catadjustableapproximately 10-13 inches Kitten adjustableapproximately 6-8 in (7/16 wide) Adjustable collar is made from cotton fabric. They have nickel plated hardware & a breakaway safety buckle. All collars are riveted for strength & quality. BOW OPTIONS: BUNNY EAR & BOW TIE Bunny ear Bows are optional. The Bows are easily removed if wanted or needed. If the knot is tight, you may need to gently use some long nosed pliers to work the knot loose enough to untie. If they become soiledjust untie, wash by hand with warm soapy water & lie flat to dry on a towel & if needed, they can be ironed. Luna Bugs Designs Soft Collars are very lightweight & soft on purpose. This is to keep them from irritating & bothering your cat. Most cats & kittens adjust to them quickly & forget they're there. Collars are made from cotton fabric & lightweight fusion to give it stability & shape & still stay soft & lightweight. I never use any heavy nylon & they will never get fuzzy. If the collar becomes soiled, hand wash & air dry. We, as humans may like the weight of a heavier collar in our hands, but cats are not so thrilled with that extra weight around their necks. How many fingers should fit under a cat collar Collars do actually need to be quite firmly fitted - you should only be able to get 1-2 fingers underneath. If too loose the cat can get their leg through. Your cat may tense its neck when you first put a collar on, so always re-check the fit after a few minutes & adjust if necessary. Always remember to check & adjust your kitten's collar every few daysthey grow fast If you're unsure on size, please measure your cat/kitten's neck before ordering. To measure, wrap snug but not too tightly to get exact number & add 1 inch. If the measurement is at the end of the largest number, go up to the next size.
