These are for the Prevue 495 Cage. These are SMALLER than the Critter & Ferret Nation cages so they will NOT fit those cages. Made specifically for Feisty Ferret. Wooden cage guards useful for stopping hay, feces & bedding from being kicked out from the cage. They are great as chew posts, to prevent overgrown teeth. These & metal guards (coming soon) are the SAFEST as they guarantee your pet will not get into anything unsafe. Pets that really love chewing can easily nibble the fleece off fleece guards, reach the plastic & then tear that apart leading to internal blockages. Fleece is recommended for chinchillas BUT only if they don't chew it. Also fleece holds urine much more easily, requiring cleaning to be done more regularly to avoid respiratory infections.
