The phono stage's input impedance is 47 kiloohms for moving magnet and 120 ohms for moving coil to support its use with a range of phono cartridges. The AT-PEQ30 also delivers a 250 mV line-level input for both MM and MC phono cartridges. Audio Technica adds that it builds the phono preamp using components such as a machined aluminum front panel along with gold-plated input and output connects. The product's FET inputs are designed to minimize noise and the phono preamp provides RIAA equalization with tonal balance from 20Hz to 20kHz.
