The greener color and near-soapy feel of chlorite distinguishes it from other phyllosilicates at a glance and the presence of water distinguishes it chemically. This sample is ideal for lessons on metamorphism mineral alteration as well as general identification and classification exercises. While each specimen will vary slightly in shape size and color it will measure approximately 1 in length. Set is packaged in a transparent bag labeled & barcoded for easy identification and storage.
