Piper's paintings of Stowe in Buckinghamshire. This is a signed unnumbered edition from a limited run, with the signature of John Piper present. This copy is now housed in a specially commissioned deep red slipcase, with lettered title to slipcase spine. The interior of the book is in immaculate condition. Some sunning to the very good cover, and very small bumps to the ends of the spine. Set in Monophoto Baskerville series 169 sixteen point body and printed under the control of John Parfitt at the Westerham Press on 100% rag on Fourdrinier paper specially made for the edition at the Rives-sur-Fure Mill of Arjomari-Prioux in France.
