This copy also has a letter tucked inside the front cover on Doubleday and Company letterhead. Dated June 17, 1968. Ken McCormick, editor in chief at Doubleday writes 'Several months ago, Senator Kennedy asked us to have some copies of his book bound in leather, with his own personal inscription tipped in each, for former members of his staff. The books have just arrived, and I am attaching herewith the copy the Senator wanted you to have.' The recipient of this copy was Margo C. Cohn.
