First Edition, First Printing A bright, copy with a stunning unrestored dust jacket. Extremely scarce variant with the QUAD mark to the title page. Original black covered boards with an embossed silver dagger to front board. Bright unfaded silver titles to spine.The book has clean boards and no edgewear. One corner bump to front and the boards are slightly bowed and cocked. The bright red end papers are clean with no owner names, no bookplates, no inscriptions and no book store stamps, but with a slight soft crease. The title page has the scarce QUAD mark, the well known, but quite rare, printing error which may occur on the title page of this book (where there is a thin black line that appears between the E and M in FLEMING). The internal pages are clean with No stains, No writing, No foxing, and no handling marks. Please see images for details. The original unrestored first edition dust jacket is in near fine condition being overall very bright with vibrant colors and presents in near fine condition with just a touch of spine nicks.
