Chapters on club and balls, caddies, style, students and golf, the Edinburgh Braids, niceties in golf, finesse in golf, golf and its attractions, false golf, mannerisms in golf, hazards, match and medal play, the greatest unplayed golf match, etc. An insightful and delightful copy. Slightest lightening of the upper corners, otherwise the original red cloth is bright, the cover black lettering and decoration of crossed long-nose clubs and balls are clear and complete. The four cover corners are sharp. Pastedown offset to end papers, former Glasgow owner's name dated 1903 on ffep, else an unmarked copy with bright, flawless contents.
