Akira Uno (1934-) is a leading Japanese illustrator who has worked in the style of surrealism since the 60s. The delicate eroticism of his graphic design is recognised overseas. The publication is extremely rare. Text in Japanese. 6 silkscreen polychrome plates unbound, in black paper folder with a title page. Signatures and limitations on each leaf in pencil. Occasional (very few) foxes on the margins only. Leaf 63,5x48cm, image 49x39cm. Book: 124 pp. 27,6x20,5 cm. Poster (folded) 80x55cm. Multiple photo and graphic illustrations. Perfect purple obi and dust jacket, fine condition. Ivory cloth clamshell box has occasional waving and foxing, one chipping inside, on the border, otherwise near fine. Outer cardboard sleeve - foxed and the title slip is worn on the edges. Staples rotten. Shipping box 68x53x5,5cm: tape glue remains, ink stains, title sticker, two edges are heavily soiled, another sticker rubbed. Extra shipping charges may be applied due to weight and size of the item.
