Elizabeth Thomas-Hope is Professor Emerita University of the West Indies Mona Jamaica where she was the first appointee to the James Seivright Moss- Solomon (Snr) Chair of Environmental Management. Her many publications include The Environmental Dilemma in Caribbean Context; Solid Waste Management: Challenges for Developing Countries; and Natural Resource Management for Sustainable Development in the Caribbean (co-edited with Ivan Goodbody).
